Welcome to Plants & Pilates! As you can see from the wide range of services, I wanted to make it easier for you to eat well and move smarter so you can feel amazing; it's that simple. So, when I had the opportunity to stock a staple of mine, the Energy Bites, I jumped! The more natural snacks in shops near you, the easier it is to make good choices.
These Raw Vegan Energy Bites are just the thing if you have a sweet tooth and are really trying to cut out refined sugar. They are 100% natural and handmade, with no additives, no preservatives, no dairy and no refined sugar. But, they are super delicious and satisfying.
Made from a date, walnut and almond base, these energy bites are packed full of whole, plant-based goodness.* The three flavours are coconut, cacao and baobab, and you get 7 balls of delight in each pack variety pack.
These bites save me when I have a craving for something sweet. The gooey texture and the sweet mixed with the saltiness or the nuts means I'm satisfied for longer. Because they are free from refined sugar and full of fibre, my blood sugar levels don't spike and crash in the same way that they would with something like chocolate.
I hope you enjoy these as much as I do.
As of Tuesday 23rd February, you can pick up a bag of 7 balls from Downdog + Crow in Woodstock. This haven is a beautiful Yoga studio in the heart of the Cotswolds. The owner, Suzanne, is warm, full of life and positivity and is so fun to be around. She's created a wonderful space for people to come and practice, and I'm so excited that she is stocking our bites for her Yogis.
From Thursday 25th February, you can pick up a bag of Energy Bites from Wates & Co in Witney. This new deli in Langdale Court stocks fresh fruit and veg, and so many foods you didn't know existed.
*As you'll find out from my nutrition sessions and blogs, I don't believe in looking at just one ingredient or nutrient and putting it on a pedestal. Our bodies are complex, and looking at the benefits of a single nutrient won't give you a real-world view. But, we can celebrate the fabulous things going on in whole-foods to get a good idea of the benefits they can bring.
